Painting Department was established on 09.04.2015 in accordance with Law No. 2547 of the Council of Higher Education, article 7/D-2 and 7 / h amended by Law No. 2880.

Education started in 2015-2016 academic year by taking the first students with a special talent exam.

Our department is an academic institution that trains qualified artist candidates. Education, training and lessons are structured in line with this main purpose. The program consists of theoretical courses such as Art History, Aesthetics and Contemporary Art in addition to applied courses such as Drawing, Painting, Art Applications, Printmaking, and Wall Painting.
