The Faculty of Fine Arts at Adıyaman University was established in accordance with the Ministry of National Education's letter dated August 17, 2009, numbered 22536, published in the Official Gazette dated September 5, 2009, numbered 27340, and the Council of Ministers' decision, as well as Article 30 of Law No. 2809, dated March 28, 1983, as supplemented by Article 30.
At the meeting of the Higher Education Executive Board on April 9, 2015, the Department of Painting was established in accordance with Articles 7/d-2 and 7/h of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, Article 4 of Law No. 3843, and Article 6 of Law No. 2809.
Since the 2015-2016 academic year, the Department of Painting has been accepting students based on pre-registration and special talents. Student quotas, special talent exam requirements, and exam dates are announced through media outlets and our University website.
